Question Need some motor help????????

Hey guys and gals, new to the forums but have lurked in the dark for a while reading. Good stuff on here but now I need some help if its ok.

I have a 90 bronco, 6 inch lift, 35 tires, 351w, auto tranny. I dont drive this truck very often but this past weekend I decided to stretch her legs and make around a 300 mile trip.

Around 4 miles from home, I noticed I started to miss alittle bit and lose a little power. The motor has 185000 on it and never had no problems other than a leaky valve seat on the left side.

I pulled over to see what was going on and smoke poored out of the pipes, (true duals) No knocking, no pinging that I could here, Well I decided to just drive it home since I was so close, BLUE SMOKE was everywhere.

I got home and pulled the plugs, I noticed the dipstick was lifted about 1 inch out of the tube and oil blew out of it. 3 plugs where soaked in oil. 2 on the left side and 1 on the right side, This whole time I never lost oil pressure, the truck never overheated.

Is this my rings, my valve seats or valve stem seals or so freaky vacuum thing.????????????????? Where do I start.

Thanks in advance for any help
and Semperfi!!!!!!!!!

You could have a plugged PCV valve. However, your problem sound more serious than that. When you get enough crankcase pressure to push the dipstick out and pump oil out of the tube, it is more likely to be piston blow-by, either due to badly worn rings or severe wear on the cylinder walls (or both). Given that you also have oil in 3 cylinders and blowing blue smoke, I think your problem is rings and/or cylinder walls.

You could try running a compression test on all cylinders. More telling would be a bleed-down test on all cylinders.
