Spartan Users Help!

Ok, Im planning to order the spartan kit this week ($1999) for my 2010 cc 4x4. I have a forum member who is a diesel tech doing the install of the pipe for me. Question to all you guys: how difficult is it to load the tunes and install them on the truck. As I search around the different forums it seems a lot of people have issues with the software. Im not very computer savy. Also is there anything I need to buy that doesnot come with the kit ie: sd card? If anyone is willing to pm there phone number I would love to talk to someone who has installed the product. My name is Sean and I have really enjoyed the info I gained from this site. Seems like a bunch of good guys willing to help fellow 6.4 owners.
Finally what tune do you guys use for daily driving? I do zero towing and drive my truck everyday, it is my only vehicle and I cant afford to have it not running. I was thinking the 250 or 275 tune.
Ok one more, what do you monitor and what are you high and low warnings? Again this will be a daily driver and really I just want the baddest truck on the block!!
Thanks All
SJM

Setting up the tuner used to be a bit of a PIA but now that they went to the strategy flash system it should eliminate some serious headache. You needed to get a code off your truck with the old system and then wait for them to build the tunes for your specific truck but as far as I know they all come with the tuner now. If you operate a microwave then you will be able to figure out the Dashdaq. It's all touchscreen and very user friendly.

First time you load a tune takes the longest (approx 30min) as it backs up your stock files. After that changing between the tunes takes roughly 15min. You shouldn't need to buy anything extra as the tuner comes with an SD card and everything else you need. What to monitor is up to you, Mick from spartan can send you an email (if you didn't **** him off too much, haha) with what most people monitor as well as the highs and lows. Almost everyone monitors their EGT, Trans Coolant Temp and Engine Temp. I also watch my fuel rail pressure, rpm's (because it's more accurate) and my engine oil temp. Changing all of this on the Dashdaq is very easy and you will have it figured in no time.

Finally I use the 275 for daily driving and have since day 1 with no problems.

Also once you get the tuner you can get Spartan to set you up with a user name and password for their forum and that'll be your best bet for any info that you still require.
