I gotta get new ones. Looking at Power King. Anybody have any experience with them?

I don't, but my buddy runs them all the time. He loves the all-terrain ones, swears they last forever and are great in the mud & snow.

I myself run mud-terrain tires. Can't remember the manufaturer of mine right now though, they are "off" name brand. They wear faster than the all-terrains, but I either go through what I am driving through or bury myself trying

As always, I'd have to suggest Dayton Timberline A/Ts.
10 ply E range tire, with tread almost as aggressive as a mud tire, but quiet and very long lasting (even with my constant need to do burn outs at every redlight/stop sign I come to).

The specific tire I'm talking about is a commercial truck tire, not the consumer brand A/T II, which is junk in comparison, they run about $275 a tire on my dodge (17" 285s), and can be gotten at any place the Daytons can be bought, will most likely have to special order them though., my truck has 60K miles on it, and I have yet to replace tires on it (save for my knobby's which I bought for $500 for all 6 :3 and use for "fun")

The main reason I keep suggesting this tire, is because it is honestly such a good one. I work in an industry where I may have to travel 40 miles to work and then use my truck off road all day (and I mean -off- road). *ponders* Actually now that I think about it...never gotten that truck stuck yet...and I've had the frame rubbing before in soft sand...

If you don't need an A/T then I'd suggest the same tire in an H/T which has a tread thats almost as aggressive as other brand's A/Ts and normally runs about $40 cheaper.

when I bought the dually it had power kings all around....and they were pretty well worn and I was not expecting much out of them. I put another 30k on them without any problems, and was honestly pretty impressed....deffinatly on my list of brands to shop now.

Well, i just got a new set of PKs. We'll see how they do. They ride really good brand new. Of course, they went up about 100 bucks for the set in two months since I priced them.
