2003 sd 350 6.0 help
finally got the beast started by using block warmer, changed the egr valve and fuel filters. Runs okay, but engine light still on. I needed to use my battery charger on the 225 amp 12v start position to help get it started. Once started it will re start but needs a little throttle to do so.I need new batteries, does any one have a preference?the batteries i have are original(5yrs old now) and need to be replaced. when engine sits, i have to go through the same routine. How can i tell if the glow plug system is working? the light goes out quickly every time. Can the bad batteries(not very bad, engine seems to turn over fine) keep it from starting thanks clay
