I just recently bought a 1979 F-150 4x4 and am not ready to lift it just yet. I am trying to figure out what type of tire/rim sizes will give me good height and appearance without it being lifted. Does anyone have any suggestions?

 

I have ran 10.00x31x15 on 15x8" wheels on my 78 F-150 4X4 for years. No wheel bearing problems or steering linkage problems ( premature problems I mean ) . I would recomend this set up highly, It looks good too. I've ran 12.00x33x15 with 15x10" wheels on another F-150 4X4 I use to have and had alot of front wheel bearing failures.More like it ate them!
