For what its worth, my mom's 95 is running '85 Mustang SVO tires and wheels with no modifications at all. They are 15 x 7 rims, whatever the stock SVO offset is.

Hmmm, I thought those wheels are 4 lug but that is obviously not the case. Post up a picture, I am very curious what those look like on an Aerostar......

For summer wheels I have 16 x 7.5" Mustang GTs on my rear wheel drive `88 and they fit without spacers. The front tires are 215/60r16 and the rears are 225/60r16s. The tires fit without rubbing but are within a 1/4" inch away from the upper control arms in the front and body in the rear. Here is a picture of my van with these wheels before the 'restoration' and new paint, I forgot how ugly it really was.....

As you wish

Out of curiosity, why would you think an SVO would be a 4 lug? Its a powerful muscle car, not some cheap economobile. I think all Mustangs are 5 lug front he factory.

Khan the picture you posted appears as a red 'x'.....

I did some research on Mustang wheels throughout the years. All Mustangs from `74 until `93 are 4-lug except for SVOs. I did not know SVOs came from the factory with 5-lug wheels, learned a little something.....

Car Guy is correct; with a few exceptions, all Fox Mustangs from 1979-1993 used 4 lug wheels. This included the GTs, with the barely adequate 11" disc brakes, which for Ford was actually an improvement. The few exceptions were the SVO mustangs, which used the 5 lug axles and hubs from the Lincoln Mark VII, and the 1993 Cobra-R, which used hubs and axles that were newly developed for the Fox-4 (1994-2004) platform, and the 13" front brakes that finally came close to matching the power of the engine. My ultimate wish for my Aerostar would be to adapt those brakes to it, but I'll need a mill for that.

Okay, I'm really getting outside the box here, but all '74-'78 Mustangs were 4 lug. (Okay, maybe some of you will call them rebadged Pintos) Also, your very early Mustangs (65ish) with the six cylinder engines were 4 lugs. (I know, it's outside of the "Wheels for Aerostars" thought train here, but I guess I just wanted to get another count on my posting number.........)

Ok, learn something new everyday. I guess the Fox mustangs were pretty small.
