Single CD player malfunction.
The single CD player in my 2000 XL is not working. I can put a CD in and it will suck it in then it will click-click-click-click a bunch of times then eject halfway then suck it back in, click some more then finally fully eject the disc.
Have any of you worked on these players?????
Now it does work sometimes but the weather has to be cold. For some reason it is temperature finicky like that and will play and load discs fine in frigid weather. In fact this past winter I was running it and enjoying my CD player and since have left my Alabama CD in it. It also plays a loaded CD just fine but you dare not eject it or it will be the last CD you play all year till winter LOL!
I'm wondering if there are any rubber band/belts in them and if the band/belt has worn out????
