Question STEERING FRICTION ISSUE

Sometimes when I turn my steering wheel (2001 7.3L 4X4) I can feel some light friction feedback or rubbing at a very short section in the turning radius. I only experience it when I am in motion @ about 1-15 mph, and it seems to be slightly more obvious when I am turning down hill and clockwise. Most of the gaps between incidents are so far apart that the problem can not be located by a technician. Most of the common steering joints are greased and/or inspected every 5,000mi and power steering fluid is at proper operating level. Any ideas and/or experiences???

Thanks FTE guys.
