Question FLYWHEEL CHECK

I just had my malfunctioning starter (2001 7.3L) replaced today. What is the easiest way to check flywheel for any damage? Engine starting system is operating perfectly. I just would like to do a checkup.

You mean like for missing teeth?? I'm thinking your best bet would be to remove the inspection cover and have someone bump the starter for you.

if you are not having any issues starting now I don't think I would worry about it. If you have missing teeth at some point that would become apparent without a visual inspection. If it is something you feel needs to be done what Joe said is your easiest solution short of removing the motor.
