I'm at work right now so I can't post any pictures or look at any though I did try to search for one. My 52 is a five star extra cab. Was a speedometer with integrated turn signal indicators part of the package? I have a guy interested in buying my stock gauges and I was just wondering if mine was common or possibly a more rare part. I can post a picture of it in my gallery when I get home. The speedo is marked 'May 3, 1951, part #1C-17255-A.

AFAIK all '52's had the "windows" with Left/Right indicator arrows; but mine weren't hooked up. I've never seen a "factory" turn signal assembly, integrated into the steering column, on a Bonus Built.
Turn signals were an option from the factory, but were installed with a large switch that was clamped onto the steering wheel. The switch mechanism was not built into the steering column as on later models.
Turn signals were also offered as a dealer option. In the 50s and early 60s many if not most of the options were installed by the dealers.
The speedometers were built with small arrow windows as Ross mentioned to support that installation.
I believe that the signal lights themselves were and additional set and were not integrated with the brake/running or parking lights - could be wrong. Remember the trucks only came with the drivers side tail light unless you ordered the optional passenger side light,
The speedometers were used on another model of parcel delivery (or whatever) - don't remember which in to possibly the late 60s early 70s and are still available new!
Here is a picture of the stock speedometer and instrument cluster.
