First Post... and Thank You?

Hey all,

Just picked up a 2000 F250 with 175k on the clock.

Can't start it when cold without plugging in heater, so I've been reading up on all the possibilities.

Just went out to check my GPR and if I did it correctly, I'm not getting any power to the glow plug side (with key on and wait to start light lit).

I'm going to change it out and see if things improve. Hopefully that is the problem, and not the plugs themselves?

Thanks for the info... and hopefully the solution.

Tony

Thanks!

I just came across another interesting thread...
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...-big-time.html

I have a little led light mounted near my steering column and couldn't figure out what it is... I'm hopeful it is the mod above cuz it's definitely not lighting up.

Thanks.

To be honest, I only bought this vehicle to pull my camper so doubt I'll be doing any "bling" type mods. Just looking for something reliable.

I have a Honda Ridgeline that I absolutely love, but unfortunately it can only pull 5000lbs, so now I have to sell that .

won't be doing "bling" type mods...yeah OK...keep us posted as your post count grows, your wallet gets emptier....

LOL!

Nah... all my money goes toward motorcycle stuff. Trucks are just something to transport the bikes/campers

But... I do need some good floor mats. My Honda as rubber ones with upturned edges so my carpets stay perfect. Would like something similar for the F250. Any pointers???

Danny, go to RRW...Clay will gladly give you a sticker brother...lol...i had to go to RRE to get mine...it was worth the 4 hours driving to just turn around and go home...i loved it, will gladly do it again this year...

and if you happen to be out of country when RRW is going on...you have the greatest excuse for not going, i'll bet Clay may secretly drop one in the mail for you...

Clay, if i may make a suggestion...hook your customers up with a sticker like "Edelbrock", Hurst, Thrush, and all the big guys do, you might get big like them then...lol...just my .02...and if you get some really big stickers, like say, the size of our back windows...i will gladly purchase one to drive around Huntsville for you...

You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile.....
I just agreed to let my wife buy wheels for her car so I now have some leverage. I figure I throw an extra Rose in the Valentines Day arrangement and I'm good for my first mods.

Sorry man, I ran out a couple months ago and just haven't made the time and money to get more made up. But I contacted the printing company and they are working on another batch right now.
