Florida meet at Bradenton Motorsports Park During NMRA weekend 03/06/2010
Throwing this out there. The response from those that are willing to commit will determine the outcome and my time to get this going.
I have some connections with ProMedia Publishing who run the NMRA (National Mustang Racers Association) weekend event also commonly referred to as the Spring Break Nationals at Bradenton Motorsports Park on March 5-7, 2010.
This is the first race of the new season. So there will be alot of spectators at the event. The parking area for the event is huge, howver it is on grass, there is no pavement, but anyway I am sure I could get an area for members of FTE for all of us to gather around, and then afterwards when we are done meeting, we can go watch some of the fastest street legal and not so street legal fords in the nation.
We can call this a not so formal event, just a quick hey and how are you and some shop talking and then those that are introverts or shy can go and do some looking around. They have a great swap meet, nice show and shine car show, for those that are interested in trophies or prizes, and of course burning rubber and 6 second quarter mile cars.
If anyone is interested, please post your name here and let me know. Again, this doesnt have to be anything formal, it would be a good days out for you and the family, meet some exciting new people and most of all represent the Florida chapter within FTE. So, to that end, lets hear it

I have no gigs scheduled for that weekend on the east coast (Perfect Tuesday), so I can make it since I'll be home in Sarasota. Maybe I'll actually have the '54 F100 on the road by then...
