Lets see some flat beds!

i couldnt find a thread on flat beds if there is one feel free to delete this one, but if not like it says lets see 'em!

1979 F250 460 C6 D44 Front, D60 Rear

This is what she looked like when I got er.

Then this... a little better

Then I added a body lift and 38's with some more trimming...

And finally this is it now complete with what I call the crazy seat.

78 f250 flatbed

hre is mine. it's a work in progress. just finished replacing clutch, pulling the motor and replacing oil pan gasket, rear main seal, valve cover gaskets, hoses and belts...drive shaft reworked, new rear pinion seal, transfer case output seal...replacing leaky gas tank this weekend, needs rear brakes and tires. hope soon to remove the dually bolt on adapters and return to single rear wheel set-up.
its a 78 f250 w. dana 60 rear, dana 60 high pinion front, s speen manual and np 205 transfer case. it's a rust bucket but the drive train and motor is solid. speedo has 39K miles...when we looked inside the motor is was very clean. it was a farm truck and i don't know it it is possible that the miles are original, but i'm gunna drive it till i fall through the floor board.

and NO! i didn't put the cheby mudflaps on it. lol! or the chebby looking mirrors.

NO NO do not make it single wheel! It looks great and you dont see many duallys this year and 4wd.

if i can find some folding mirrors that will bolt back into any of the existing holes in the door i will swap them out. the current mirrors appear to be at least the third set installed. i like big mirrors but i spend a fair amount of time on forest service roads in the mountains i know it's just a matter of time before i clip a tree or another truck and do some damage so something or someone.

i am also going to sell the original front hub caps with the holes for the 4x4 hubs. i have no idea what they are worth so i need to do a little research on em.
