This is my beast, a '79 F350 w/dana 60 f/r, 300 6cyl w/4spd, a hinged flat bed with a hand pump for now (have an elec over hydraulic pump waiting to be installed when i find a cylinder). I use it to plow, small construction jobs, haul scrap to the junk yard and everything else you can thing of. She doesn't look pretty but gets the job done!

I wish you were a little bit closer, are you putting a regular bed back on it? I'd love to have the diesel set up in mine too some day!

well, i have to get it first, which requires the sale of my 91. but yeah, the plan is for a regular bed to go back on it, or if its a flatbed again, itll be one that i build for it. and as far as closeness, how close are you to quakertown, pa?

ok. well, im not from there, but i have some friends there that i havent seen in a year and a half, so if i get the truck, ill be sure to make that trip a priority. id give a pretty good deal on the bed too. its 8 feet long, 6 and 1/2 feet wide, has about a one-ton dumpin capacity, has a gooseneck hitch, and like i said, it is original ford equipment. (i dont know if it was original to this truck, but it was somethin offered by ford.) maybe even the plow off of it? 7 and 1/2 foot plow with power lift and angle.

haha. kinda puttin the cart before the horse, here, arent i?

Perky, I remember your truck, Instead of the hood opening like a regular one the whole front clip swings up, I'm sure it allows for easy access to that Perkins Diesel.
