american racing rims make a set of those they look great looking ot get a pair for my truck check out this web site you might like ithttp://www.wheelsforless.com/american_racing.aspx
I think those are the best looking wheels for our trucks.
My truck came with the chrome louvered ones too. I got the aluminum ones on Ebay.
My 1995 sales brochure calls them deep dish aluminum wheels.
Ya i love them aluminum wheels, i like my chrome but i think aluminum's are better. I think whats throwin my truck off is my tires dont have the white letters showing. and what sucks is they dont have they white letters on the inside .

I like the white letters too, but I don't think it has to have them to look good.
I'll have to check Old Rusty, he's a '91 & I think they were stock on him. I picked up an extra pair off a guy who scraps trucks for $50.00. I don't remember seeing any rivets, let me stick my head out the door for a minute. Okay, just looked, AAADD & CRS ( yet again ), his DO have the rivets. My mistake, sorry.
Those factory aluminum wheels (at least the 8 bolt version) are made by Alcoa. I think they came out in '94. I know up until then the aluminum wheels you could order from the factory looked just like American racing wheels. The newest truck I have seen with old style wheels was a '93,

Darn, thanks any how , that would have been nice. ya i always thought they looked like the alcoa wheel.
That Outlaw II series 62 wheel pictured above I belive has a coating on it so it won't require polish. The 589 / Baja Alloy wheel like this is the one I was talking about that requires constant polish. They are good looking wheels, but I'll never have another set.
All your aluminum tractor-trailer/bus rims are from alcoa. As was brought to my attention in another thread is make sure the balance weights are put on the inside...I didn't catch that info till mine were mounted. I'll just get me a can of clear and hit the spots where the weights are...
funny thing happened, i was putting up gutters one day and the alluminum gutters and the alcoa logo on them on the end cap aswell as alcoa was stamped into them.
