ITT: DP and MPG
So i been calculating.
With out the chip on 42s i used to get like 11-12.8
With the chip I got like 11 point something
I upgraded to 44..going from 15 wide to 18 wide tires.. with the chip still gettin the same thing.
Now without the chip on 44 gettin the same thing..
Im ALWAYS smashin and dashin...
How can that be..no matter what im gettin between 11 and 12?

Welcome to what's known as "reality".
I should be getting 30mpg from all my mileage improving mods.

Have you got your speedo/odometer figured out? or are you using a GPS?
With my 40's it is right at 11.7-12 mpg. I bet if I regeared to 4.30's I would get a little better.

what i do is... record how many miles i went for example 250
250x 1.38(because of 44s)= 345 actual miles
345 divided by 28(#of gallons i filled my truck up) = 12.32 mpg

Do you have a 3.73 or 4.10 in the rear? The 3.73 will kill you if you do lots of start/stops and heavy take offs. My guess is thats pretty good MPG for tires that big with the way you drive.

When you're driving down the highway, 60mph, what rpm's are you running?
If you're around 1750 ish probably 4.10.
If you're around 1500 ish probably 3.73.
