Exaust

Truck is a 78 F-150 4x4 with a 400.
About to add dual exaust and looking for muffler suggestions around $50-$100.

Hey, just go to Kragens, and get a pair of the longest Glass Packs they have (the rack in Kragens says Cherry Bomb), Get the long ones because they will be mellower. the longer the mellower, if you can get the 29 1/2 x 2 1/2 ones (that is what I used on my 77 F250 4x, 400, and sound good just cruzin', but sounds like a race car when it is time to fo fast :O) (although the 400 is just a lazy dog, but it sounds good, and not to mention they are $17.99 each)

Glass packs are definitely the way to go. Additionally after awhile the glass packs will tend to "burn out" and the longer ones will last longer.

Because of clerance I used the HD super turbo muffler from Jegs.It is round 7" in diameter and 36" long and aluminized and you can get it up to 3" inlet/outlet.It rumbles a little at idle and slow cruising but is perfectly quite on the interstate.
