03 Ranger OBD codes
At 118,000 miles I did the following: New coil, plugs and wires put on and still noticed a distinct lack of power, but still ran smoothly. After changing the fuel filter and using Seafoam as well as cleaning the inside of the throttle body butterfly by rubbing it down, I noticed that after roughly 30 miles, the check engine light came on. The truck is missing badly on acceleration AND just driving around. I have the following codes
0316(indicating misfiring),p0300,p0302,p0303 and p0304. Do any of you gurus have advice at this point?

Did the codes start after you changed plugs and wires? If so, make sure you have the wires routed correctly. Also, double check that you didn't knock off any vacuum hoses or harness connectors while you were working.

Thanks Rockledge. The truck ran fairly well after changing the wires and plugs. The problem started when I cleaned the throttle body and ran fuel injector cleaner through. I guess it's possibly an issue with the throttle body; compression check showed no significant issues with the cylinders. I will recheck the vacuum hoses again.
