Have DP Tuner, can't install...

I got it last Wednesday through Riff-Raff (Thanks Clay) and then my back went out that afternoon, related to an old firefighter injury so this is not a complaint, only a whine. I'm not generally a whiner but I am going crazy having it in hand and unable to install it. I can get around but bending and basic wrenching are out of the question for maybe another week. I imagine those of you who have a DP know the angst I'm suffering and maybe will hoist a cold one in honor of my dual pain.

Here's what I got in the F5 config:

Switch Settings:
0: No Start
1: Stock
2: Hi-Idle 1200 RPM
3: 80hp Econo Codes
4: DECEL
5: 80hp Tow Codes
6: 60hp Tow Codes
7: 120hp Race Codes

{ end whine }

Bring it to Knoxville this Saturday and it will be done for you.
We are having a big GTG in Knoxville on Saturday so I will be there and will be more than willing to install it for you.

You may even win something while there also.

If we still lived in Asheville we could install it for you. Marshall is a stones throw from Asheville.

I thought I'd seen old links with an Asheville address. How long have you been gone?

... and Neal, Thank you very much for the generous offer. Normally I'd jump at the chance to get out and ride but right now I'm laying low and resting the back so I can get back to it soon. I'd love to join a GTG and learn about all the cool things I can't afford!

I am only about 1-1/2 hours from Asheville. If you need maybe we could hook up another time than Saturday.
I kinda figured you wouldn't want to make the trip. I understand.

Well, it took me about an hour to do a 20 minute job but I got the tuner installed. Most of my time was spent devising access into the engine compartment and then under the dash so these old bones wouldn't complain. The instructions Clay sent and all the help in this forum made it a really easy job overall. I'm still waiting for the back-ordered dash mount for the switcher so for now I have the switcher just routed up and out near the steering column.

The tuner works great and really does improve the overall driveability. I've been running a RocketChip tuner in my Jetta TDI for a few years so I know what to expect and it really does make daily driving much more pleasurable.

(note to self... truck doesn't go very well in decel tune)

Thanks to all those on here who share... FTE rocks!
