The only leg room you gain is when the seat base is tipped up from the front (maybe a 1"+) not any more though but then your seat back is way back and will need adjusting to a more upright position, unless you like driving like you are in a Lazyboy.

The height adjustment does give you noticeable leg room, but you lose a little head room. Also, the back doesn't adjust with the seat height, so it may feel like the backrest/lumbar is too low.
