I am having trouble finding good ratchet straps... Sams club has an okay set (good year I belive) that are ok for small loads in the bed, but they dont last too long and are no where near big enough for larger trailer loads. I had one larger/ thicker strap (3 or 4in wide I belive) that appears to be what is used on a semi. I dont know where I got it or where to find another. Where is the best place to look for good, high quality, heavy duty straps?
You'll want the Wire Hook, unless your hooking onto flat trailer frames all the time. I bought mine at a local farm supply store but they are like the ones in the link with the heavy duty yellow poly straping and wire hooks. Mcmaster isn't the cheapest but they have what you need.
Check some local Farm Supply stores...Like Tractor Supply, Big R, Murdocks... etc. I get mine from Big R here locally and they are $20 for the 20,000lb 30ft straps. Big? Yes...But they work great since I usually pull them out for hauling a tractor or hay.
They usually carry other sizes too depending on what you are going to use them for.
