Can anyone tell me where I might find a wireing diagram for a '70 F100? Preferably online? Or can someone scan one in and send it to me? We had a steering shaft grab a wire and it ended up yanking everything from the cab to the tailgate! Boy we're having fun now! NOT! Thanks in advance. BTW, my e-mail is chadb@sprintmail.com
I'm not aware of any wiring diagram available online. The original harness is color coded. All you need to do is follow that "diagram". If your wires are "ripped beyond recognition" you would be way ahead going to a yard and finding a decent wiring harness from front to rear. You can uncouple the harness under the dash and pass it through the firewall. No cutting or splicing involved. Choose your new "used" harness wisely. You don't want to buy into new problems.

Thanks Trail Rider....I would add for you Chad that I have the wiring diagram book for 1967's. It is probably the same diagram for the rear harness on your truck. The diagram is good for trouble shooting problems with harnesses that are intact because it shows you the path and color sequence for all the circuits. I think you would be disappointed though because it really won't help you fix the problem you have. I stand by my first response as your best option.

Well, thanks for the quick responses. I guess we will just have to go for it and hope we can get it all back together. Unfortunately, a new harness is not in the equation for a bit. He has pretty much overspent his budget getting the truck this far. Thanks again
Chad, check with your local auto/electric shops. I've had good luck getting them to photocopy a page or two for me. Once I even found a complete set of diagrams in a book at a radiator/mechanical shop. good luck mike
