I have a friend that has a 2006 F250 Harley Davidson 4x4. We were talking about the ESOF and he told me that his truck didnt have the auto/manual hubs wich I found odd. I didnt have time to dig into this but I did look at his front wheels and they had the factory harley caps and no way of getting to the hubs without popping the cap off. has anyone seen this? this is what the front wheels look like.
It is 4x4, but I didnt have time to pull the cap off. i did look to see if there was a little cap in the center that would come off to gain access but there wasent any.
I drove a friends '04 F150 HD, and it had full time 4WD. Is it possible an F250 HD would have that? If not, probably just full time front differential.
This is what I thought but it didn't make a lot of sense to me. Why would they cover the hubs up and make it difficult to lock them if needed?
You aren't supposed to take an HD off road anyway, is probably the way they look at it. Some people will of course, but from the factory it isn't well equipped for off road. Meant for ski trips to the lodge.
