Mine seem larger than 10 mm or 5/16 4 bolts that go up into the pedestal underneath the turbo having big problems removing the pedestal so looking for another route
I'm just gonna try to remove the turbo not having any luck on what size the bolts are that bolt the turbo to the pedestal or what size gear wrench I need to remove them
I'm at wits ends with this turbo is it possible to cut the pedestal out with a saw saw to get it removed really leaking oil bad now and back bolts to pedestal aren't budging. Also I'm gonna by the deleted pedestal what all extra is needed to install this on a 95 f350 Dually is there something that goes in the exhaust valve opening when you remove that or is that something you just put a plug in?
They are a bugger. I think I used a 10mm gear wrench on the one side and a 1/4" drive 10mm socket with a swivel an extention and ratchet to get mine out. It was a b*^×#
I battled this turbo it was a pain in the *** to get out well I finally got it put all new o rings in and still leaking a little but when u turn the truck off it leaks a lot more would that be the o ring on the oil drain of the turbo or supply maybe the o ring moved when I put it back in.What is the secret to keeping them in place stab the top to the exhaust manifold first or what I'm gonna be taking it back out also I put in a deleted pedestal
