Ratchet wrench reach under turbo and remove the 4 bolts holding it onto the pedestal then you'll get to the pedestal bolts easily

Mine was 10mm. I used a 10mm swivel socket, and lots of patience!

Time for the freakify mod if you plan on keeping the stock turbo.

I'm at wits ends with this turbo is it possible to cut the pedestal out with a saw saw to get it removed really leaking oil bad now and back bolts to pedestal aren't budging. Also I'm gonna by the deleted pedestal what all extra is needed to install this on a 95 f350 Dually is there something that goes in the exhaust valve opening when you remove that or is that something you just put a plug in?

They are a bugger. I think I used a 10mm gear wrench on the one side and a 1/4" drive 10mm socket with a swivel an extention and ratchet to get mine out. It was a b*^×#

I think if you start cutting you will still have to take the bolts out. As soon as you start cutting there is no going back.

You may be able to disassemble the turbo leaving the center cartridge. You will need a 8mm 12 point socket and a lot of patience

the valve can be cut out then plugged or just the rivits and keep the shaft intact

or get a cable attached and use as a manual brake/pre warmer

Are you sure its the Pedestal O rings leaking? Might be your oil rail plugs leaking.
