I posted this one the ranchero forum but got no answers and hope that some of the older more traveled guys on here might know. There is a car that I pass regularly on my way to work that has me stumped. It says pontiac on the sides and on the tailgate but looks like an old el comino. Did pontiac make anything like that or did this guy create it like I did with my "F250 IDI bronco"? It looks like it is from the early sixties and I would love to know if it is for real or not as I have never seen it before.
Doesn't look like that but hey it lets me know that they are for real. I searched the net for days and found nothing on them but didn't think to look at canadian stuff. One of these days I an gonna follow that guy home and take a look at it. I aint no gm fan but hell it is still cool. I like unique things if you couldn't tell lol.
We have done many jobs that go to canada and every one of them have had to have special stuff installed to handle the weather extremes. We are currently building a clock tower for some place called White court that is so far north that we might have to send it up there by dog sled lol. They wanted it in febuary but the bosses told them that our service guys couldn't get up there till spring. If this truck is a Beaumont would it still say pontiac across the back? It has the big round bullet type taillights and stacked head lights.
Well it must get real cold up there. we had to insulate the clock and control housing, install heaters and dryers as well. I just wish they had opted to have a bell in that tower.
