Has anyone had this problem? First it was the front brake line 6 months ago and now its the back brake line, I had the line fixed and now when I use the brakes the brake pedal would jump up and down and you hear a knock knock knock noise. Now I think one of my calipers has gone bad. any ideas Guys? 1997 expedition eddie

That's the ABS pump kicking in. For some reason the ABS thinks one of your wheels is locking up, or maybe it really is locking up and the ABS is just doing it's job.

I agree that the pulsation sounds like the ABS system.
The question I have is - what is causing your rapid failures on the actual brake lines? Brake fluid is hydroscopic and absorbs water, which can lead to rusting of the lines from the inside out. If you had your line changed and new fluid after the first incident, it seems surprising that you would have it happening again so recently.
One of the reasons I ask is because we had a line fail 3? years ago due to rusting. Changed it out, new pads / rotors, new calipers in separate incidents. Front line rusted out last night and now I'm having several other lines changed as well.
Is it something where when the first one goes, you should simply change all of the lines because where when one goes, the others are probably not far behind?
