Hello, I'm in Petaluma. I have a 75 f250 4x4 that needs someone to look at the cause of my stopped engine or to do a replacement on it. I bought it several months ago, but the engine just stopped right after I bought it and I haven't had a chance to do anything for it yet. I was told by the former owner that there was a long standing oil pump issue and it finally may have given out.
I'm looking for a genuinely experienced person in the N bay with f250s to check the truck out and if need be even to do the swap. I purchased what I was told was a 1968 ford Squire 390, but unsure there too. There are other updates that I'd like to do to to it, like a disk brake conversion as well; and I even have a 79 f250 4x4 donor truck here..
If anyone has these skills and real experience with these trucks, and who would be very reasonably priced, I'd like to speak with them.
Feel free to contact me here and share your phone # and I'll call.
Thanks, Hadjin
hey hadjin,
Dan (tigerdan) and/or Mike will hopefully chime in here. Dan is not too far from you and is an engine guru, especially with these FE 360, 390 engines.
As for Joe, he tells everyone to put a diesel in their trucks, maybe too many diesel fumes at his place.
