IH trucks have a different wiring harness. Mostly sensor/PCM/IDM locations are main difference but I would also guess that IDM/pcm connector pin locations are different. Getting a harness out of another ford truck is going to be the only way to do then modify from there.
The mechanical parts of engines are the same but the electronics are completely different. If you are buying a Powerstroke, get all of the electronics and wiring that goes with it. The transmission type must match too. If they don't include the harness, PCM and IDM, move on and buy another engine.
