What does that motorcraft silicone cost per tube? I got the right stuff in the caulk tube too. Needed it quick so I got it at Napa and paid too much for it.

LOL if you got it at NAPA you paid too much that is for sure. I really like NAPA's parts but boy are they proud of em. Oh well I guess you get what you pay for!!!
Yeah Napa is salty. The store where I usually buy stuff from got it in stock a week after I bought mine. Napa was around $5-$6 more for the same thing.

I get it for about $7 a tube, but I get wholesale prices at my local dealers.
TA-31 is actually for 7.3 oil pans, so it's designed for oil resistance, high temps, high clamp loads and quick dry times, it's the best stuff I've found for diff covers. When I use TA-31 I only wait 1 - 1.5 hours before refilling and it works great. IMO, it's much better suited for the app. than Ultra Gray (TA-29), mainly because of dry time.
