i have a 98 EB/ 4wd expd and have been regular with greasing the front end but i let it sit for the winter and now everey time i turn
the wheel with the vehicle stoped or going slow, the susp makes a loud
squeaking noise, seems to be louder when turning R. everything seems to be still greased any ideas?
Sure there is a way to grease the pitman arm. I used a syringe full of grease and a needle, inserted it into the boot, and injected the grease. It solved all my trouble with the steering squeaks, but I still have some suspension squeak somewhere that I am trying to find.
I'm bringing this one back to the top in hopes someone may have another answer. I greased the two Zerks on the stearing idler arm. I also got a grease gun needle and injected grease into the pitman arm boot. The squeak occurs when I turn the stearing wheel as well as when I bounce the front end up and down. HELP!!!!!
