I'm attempting to install power door locks and keyless entry into 2005 F150 STX. I got the actuators installed in the doors fine. However when I went to run the wires from the cab into the doors, I found out the rubber boots between cab and doors are a solid pieces of plastic on the cab side with connectors there for the speaker wires. So there is no hole to run my wires through into the doors for actuators.
Looks like it would be difficult to drill a hole through those plastic pieces. Can't really get a drill in position especially to go through the cab side. Has anyone else run into this problem when running wiring in their trucks? What was the solution?
