Autolock problems

Autolock problems
I have read several threads on this problem but haven't found the answer.. 2004 F150 S-Crew. Autolock feature was on when I purchased it last month. I disabled it through the instructions in the owners manual. However, it still autolocks every time I start the engine. The only thing I was able to disable was the autolock that happens when you start driving. What am I doing wrong or is this feature just always on?

I thank you for responding so quickly tylus. I think I have figured it out. The truck came with an Autopage brand remote start/entry system. I found an online manual on their site. From what I read, it is set up to lock upon start as a security setting. It refers me to page 12 in the manual for setup instructions. Unfortunately, in the online PDF, page 12 is blank. They have several dealers within 50 miles of me so I'll just run by and beg and or pay them to dispense with this feature. As a side note, the remotes on this brand are worthless. The buttons are not recessed and ANYTHING you have in your pocket will start/lock or alarm the truck. Thanks again.

no problem. one of the reasons I hate aftermarket alarms. I had one in my old Dodge that would cause it to Remote Start occasionally.
