im going to look at a set of 36" on 16.5's Mickey Thompson Baja Claws tomorrow...does anyone in here have a set on their dentside?? id like to see how they look before i decide on trading off my motorcycle for them...i tried searching, but i only came up with people asking the same question....does anyone know what they actually measure out to aired up??
My opinion on the Mickeys?? I guess they make an OK rock tire for Heeps that don't see much street use. Every claw that I've seen in person has worn fast, uneven and LOUD. The tire is designed to work it's best when ran at low air pressures......which is something you do NOT want to do on a fullsize with 16.5" wheels.
My buddy had 37's on a 76 chebby with the stock wheels. It looked mean and they hooked up a lot better than my Chewed up- almost slick TSL's. No pictures though sorry...
i actually just found a tire shop here in okc that stocks military tires...i think im gonna pass on the mickeys, and buy a set of 5 37"s for $250, slightly used with real good tread, plus he has a 100 or more on hand, so i can pick which ones i like best!!!.....thanks guys....
