not to , but these are modular engines and i believe the same mold makes the 4.6 as the 5.4. (please if im wrong correct me). i have heard the main mechanical difference in the engines is the connecting rods. is this true? could you just swap the internal parts from a 5.4 into a 4.6 and get more power? or would this not work? ok you can have your thread back now.lol

Is the power difference really that noticable in the 5.4 over the 4.6?

Would the exhaust sound still be good with my existing setup(true duals, 40 series single chamber flows with turn-downs)?

How about doing away with the comp system?

the best mod you can do is to get rid of the true duals, and yes the hp and tq between a 5.4 and 4.6 is huge

No, the 5.4L is a taller block, a 4.6L can only be stroked to around 5.0L's, they do share many components such as heads though.

For the list of things planned in the first post I'd just put forced induction on the engine and be done with it.
