T-98 4 speed

Does anyone know if the T-98 was used in any of Fords heavier duty trucks like the F-5/ F-500, etc, and if it would handle the work load meant for these trucks. I am looking at buying a heavy truck in the future, and have a T-98 and six cylinder I would like to use in it if possible. Any info would be great.
