hpop or idm ?
iv replaced uvch harnesses new injector harnesses new pigtails the ebpv is unplugged, new cps and icp, and i completely rewired any bad wires in the harness going to all the sensors , i had a buddy thats going to school for diesel mechanics come up and tell me that it sounded like the hpop or the idm cause it runs so rough and i have to feather the throttle to keep it runnin any other suggestions guys? does this sound like HPOP or IDM ?

I would check the fuel pressure for starters. You can use a cheap "stick type" tire gauge. The port is on the drivers side of the fuel filter canister. It needs to be 20PSI cranking and 45-50 PSI running. At least it's a easy and almost free test.

Which oil pressure guage are you referring to? If engine oil in dash,then you need to check that first. If your engine oil pressure is low your HPOP well not have steady pressure to the injectors, as the resevoir may not be full. It may run ok at driving as the oil pump(engine) may keep up with rpm. Second if the oil pressure your referring to is HPOP then your IPR is probably bad. Another thing could be IPR o-rings. To check HPOP pressure you'll need either a scanner or 4000psi gauge to tap into ports on the head. Good Luck

A friend of mines dad had a problem like that. After he had done quite a bit of testing and trying to figure it out, I asked him if he had checked the oil...A few quarts later it ran like a champ.

alright I went to check fuel pressure and idk if it was just the guage or what but the lil stick barely came out of the guage while cranking and then black oily diesel/oil mix oozed out of the tire guage?? wtf

it was weird it smelled of diesel but was black like oil and was thicker than fuel im really at a loss with this truck .. I wouldve never bought it if I knew that 3 days later it would go from perfect to crap
