'92 460 no spark

'92 460 that is getting no spark, traced back to the coil and swapped it out and that is not the problem. Where do I go from here. There is definitely fuel and the rest of the 12V system is fine so it is down to something before the coil being out of whack. The truck had sat for a few weeks, nothing new, started it and drove a few hundred feet before it flat died, no sputtering or anything just died.

I have a twin to this truck that I can start swapping parts to run things down but need to know where to go next.

Try the tfi module, not sure but on my truck it's located on the driver side fenderwell.Yours may possibly be right on the distributor.Try that and see what happens.

Check for power at the coil with a test light.
Also try unplugging the computer and see if spark returns.

Thanks it was in fact the TFI. that was one of the things I was planning to swap so I did it first and that was the culprit. It is on the fender on the '92s, bit of a PITA to get to the bottom bolt.
