Placed order for 2011 yesterday
WELL, i finally did it!
First vehicle i have ever bought new!
Man, that was a whole lot of bones! BUT,i plan on keeping for a VERY long time! So i bought new! and all that torque..
put order in for a 2011 f350 drw 4x4 lariat (was going to go f450,but they upped the towing ratings on this to 17700 for 2011)
sterling grey (like black, but water spots stick out too bad)
heated cooled seats,memory,remote start,nav,rear camera,heavy alt (had too)
5th wheel prep and comes with spray in bedliner and hooks (so good of price to pass up on spray in)
the way cool flip switches (not sure if i'm going to use them, but i LOVE the look,lmao)
Black leather (i wish they get rid of wood GRAIN)
40/20/40 (wife wanted that)
I'm very excited and little scared! VERY excited about the truck
Little scared about the engine! lmao
I'm hoping it will be reverse! Reverse, as in...ford/mexico will pay very very very close attention to everything in the motor. Becaue if they get bad ones out right off the bat that have issues.....
That WILL go around like wild fire! And then for sure knowone will want them!
There is SO MANY people waiting to see what this engine is going to do!

its not like my first choice of color,but ALL the years of having red/black/silver.
Black by far was the worse! Silver was actually the best!
I'd hand wash it, then it would still leave spots..lol....always bugged me! But, that new black, they call tuxedo black, will have a metalic flake in it, compared to original black (like flat black) Which will look very good!

i just got off phone with my dealer.
i wanted to make sure system accepted it
then he said HIS computer shows start for building feb 8th, but he said all builds start feb 8th, OR maybe he read it wrong and it said my build starts feb 8???
Then he said my build will start in march. OR was that finish month??
i told him i heard build start is jan 18, he only has what he has in computer.
I wonder if change over is jan 18?
anyone in KY Plant note on that. Does Building START on jan 18 or is that just start of change over?
i wanted to make sure system accepted it

My dealer told me Feb 15th for start build date...
