Camera to replace rearview mirror...?
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 24-Jun-02 AT 01:57 PM (EST)]If i stay with my initial design for my sub box, It will be a One Piece Unit that takes up the entire back of the vehicle from the floor to the headboard. I use my rearview mirror on a regular basis. Ive seen setups where a small camera was installed just inside the vehicle window, and a display was used up in the front to replace the rear view mirror. Has anyone had any experience with anything like this. I will be getting a display in my dash when i purchase my CD/MP3/DVD PLayer.
1) Does anyone have any recommendations as far as the Camera Manufacturer goes?
2) Is it possible to setup up the display on the dash to be used with the camera as well as its initial purpose.
Thanks In Advance!!

Camera to replace rearview mirror...?
I have one in mine, I will post photos tomorrow. I use a "4 way switch" to switch from DVD, VCR, and rear camera. works great but it takes a while to get use to the fact it looks backwards on the screen. Some tv screens have a "mirror switch" that makes it look like it would in a mirror. my camera was $59 It can be seen here http://www.swann.com.au/sec_home/sec_menu.htm I have the "minicam" http://www.swann.com.au/products/security/diy_mini/diy_mini.htm As I said photos will be here soon.
