Alright, here's a few questions that I hope you truck guys can help me with. I am planning to swap a hopped up 351 Cleveland for my tired 302 in a '72 Econoline van. Has anyone out there done this or seen this? It looks good on paper, but is it going to fit? Its going to be tight, so can anyone suggest good headers for this application?
One more question, and this is for you performance fellows: of the three big makers (Offy, Edelbrock, Weiand), which intake manifold will work best using 2v heads, but a 4bbl, 600cfm, Holley carb. (I'm talking HPs here.)
You might run into some trouble with the motor mounts. In the four or so years Ford produced the Cleveland, (I believe)it was never used in trucks. I aquired a Cleveland some years ago (still yet unfinished) and I do recall some talk from friends about how it wouldn't just "bolt right up." In any event, check out the mounts.
