Hey everybody, hope your night is going well, mine, not so much, I can't stop thinking about why my AC system just plain sucks recently. This past summer, I charged my system and it worked like a champ! It worked kinda well when i first got it but the cold was not so cold. Heat is nominal but i could care less about the heat, i live down south and don't need to use it much, short of defrosting the windshield. The main problem now is whenever I turn the system on, no matter what position the switch is in, It only blows like its on defrost mode. Put it on floor, it blasts the windshield, put it on max AC, it blasts the windshield. It started doing this about 3 months ago but I can't pinpoint it exactly to anything being changed on the truck (didnt really use it enough to pay attention). I'm thinking it could be the switch unit itself but im not totally sure. Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Further info on the truck is 1994 F150 XLT 5.0 EFI auto with 250+ thousand on the body and 140+ on the motor but who knows about the accessory systems, they could be original. Thanks again!!!
you guys are right, I'm thinking about it and the swap was quite the hack job. I know who did it and he did it when he was 16 so i kinda expected it. No worries, I'll just track it down. Thanks for your help!
