well after a day of thinking about it i need to know how to hook up gauges franklin and at this point i don't care if stuff in the dash works or not

i was thinking of a guage cluster for oil temp and volt now as to what type i was looking at the sunpro ones from advaceauto they are mech gauges but what tpye would you hook up any suggestions?

I prefer the mechanical gauges myself. The only problem you might have is finding a hole big enough in the firewall to run the temp probe through, since you cannot take that piece off. Otherwise, it's pretty easy to hook them up.

where and how do i hook them up and the hole in the firewall lol that is easy to fix someone that owned it before me decided to drill a hole into the firewall lol i know that is stupid but it's their i will use it lol can i unhook the temp sending and place the gauge their and unhook the oil pressure sending and hook it their but what about the volt meter ? that is the one i don't have a idea about as for the ones working in the truck nope not going to worry about them anymore i have done everything i can bought grounds hooked them up new battery ground took all the grounds i hooked up before and redid them all to make sure that wasn't a problem and nothing seems to help oh i did pull the codes and they where all for the tranny and smog pump because i got a automatic computer and no smog pump thanks for the ideas and helping me on this

You can hook the voltmeter anywhere under the dash. A easy place might be the fuse box. They have these fuse taps you can buy now that plug in where the fuse went, and gives you another place to tap into for power. Pick something like the blower motor or the radio fuse, anything that turns off with the key.
