Anybody have a spare spindle nut?

I feel bad now I took your spare. One thing I can tell you is I ended up needing another one for a different truck. I talked to edthepartsguy and he said of course I couldn't get it. I ordered a rebuild kit, thinking I'd find a nut somewhere else, and there was one in there! Everything I needed was there. Ed said it wasn't in the kit so, I don't know there. The kit I ordered was F6TZ-1K106-BB. I of course can't promise anything but just telling you what happened to me.

No worries Darin, I have the spindle nut issue resolved by replacing the single nut and lock clip with two nuts and a lock plate.... the kit offered by napa I linked to earlier is what it looks like. However I am using factory Ford parts I was able to get cheaper. My normal Ford parts guy says when he looks up the nuts for manual lock outs he gets the three piece deal, not the single with lock clip..... so for $20 bucks I have what I need for both sides and I already have the standard d60 socket. Now I just need to get the old nut off the riverside and I'll be golden.

Here is a picture of the origonal style spindle nut and retainer (only one nut used per side, however two are pictured)
Here is the old style compared to the new three piece design:
Here is an up close look at the replacement three piece design:
Here it is mocked up on the spindle displaying how it locks together:
As you can see in the pic of one of the nuts I had to drill and split the nut in order to get it off thanks to a boogered up spindle, luckily I had a spare spindle (read, D50s are good for something....spare parts). I am back up and running with the new three piece design on both sides. Also you can purchase a standard 1 ton spindle nut socket that has 4 "prongs" that fit the nuts to properly install and remove them.
These nuts are Dana/Spicer units and have been used on GM D60s for years, my ford man says that they have superseded to this 3 piece design in his listings. They are available at a ford dealer for roughly ~$24 per side, or from Napa for $32.99 per side, or I was lucky enough to have a buddy that works for a Dana/Spicer dealer and got enough for both sides for $20.
These may not work in the auto locking hub, but I know for sure they work great in the manual lockout configuration.
so, if anyone is looking for one of these old style nuts I have one good one with a retainer they can have, but I would recommend converting to the new three piece style.
