Question 360 2V carb

So my question is, does anyone know if the 1975 F-100 with a 360 2V engine came with the motorcraft 2100 or the 2150 carburetor. My truck had a different carb on it when i got it. I'm pretty sure i have a 2100 on it now, but their is no spot to hook up the kickdown linkage.

Either carburetor would have provisions for the kickdown linkage. It sounds like you have a carburetor for a manual trans. equipped truck.

How do you tell if the carb is for a manual or auto trans? I have a manual trans.

Carburetors equipped for an automatic transmission have a kickdown linkage on the driver side of the carburetor. It's a lever with a slotted stud for which the kickdown rod slides on to, secured with an E-clip. Carburetors equipped for a manual transmission simply have the throttle linkage connector with no kickdown linkage.
