I've done some browsing around for this...but didn't find what I was looking for. Are the frames the same gauge & height on the '99 to '07 super duties? I can't imagine there was a change...but I don't know that for a fact.
I've looked at those links before...great information; but I'm still not seeing what I'm looking for. When I say gauge, I'm talking about the width between the rails; not the thickness of the steel. Like I said, I'm assuming the '99 to '07 the frame is the same gauge...I can't see Ford changing something like that...but I don't know that for a fact.

So you're talking about the frame width? Not sure why you would call that gauge. Like railroad terminology I guess.
I don't know positively that it has not changed, but I don't think it has. Because the beds interchange between '99 and up, so the bed bolts are the same center distance. Thats a pretty good clue.
I think the chassis cabs might have a different center distance than the pickups.

Yeah, it would be a railroad type of term. Wasn't sure what other term would have applied...stance applies to the width of the wheels. There seems to be a couple different stances out there depending on chassis type (SRW or DRW) along rim/tire application.

That's what I was thinking...the beds interchange from '99 to '07 (maybe their the same on the '08 and up?). I wasn't sure if the 250 & 350 could interchange beds (SRW set up), having seen a couple of '80s vintage trucks running around with mix-match beds I felt it was a safe assumption.
This all goes back to a buddy is looking at building a hy-rail truck (used by railroads for track inspection). Without going into a long detail explanation...I'll say it's legal in sanctioned groups. Anyway, he's got the gear for a '00 F250...and wanted to make sure it would apply to a '99 to '07 SD. I told him I thought it would...but would double check. Thank you for your help Bill.
