Shell for the Bed
I'm gettting ready to go to a huge junkyard up in Austin, Texas to see if they have a shell that will fit my truck ('70 F-100 with long bed). What year Ford trucks have the same bed size as my truck? How about other brands (Chevy/Dodge)? Would a shell off any other brand fit, as long as it's got a long bed?

go to you nearest salvage yard, during slack time, and just ask the counter man. they can look all this stuff up in their books. this is another good reason to build a relationship with a local business. they are more willing to do favors for customers they know.

Shell for the Bed
All 3 are the same size until you get into the weird **** like Ford came up with in 97. The only major difference is going to be the angle of the back of the cab, if you go with one that is angled at the front.
