LMAO yeah it would be interesting to see how i could explain my truck to an officer. If he wanted to see the door jamb it would show that my truck is an F150 but if he has any knowledge on it he can just pop the hood and look at the axles. But if he wanted to be a dick he could ticket me. Wonder how i can recertify my truck?
LOL that depends on which state you register it in next. I talked to them in alaska and they said it was easier if the title was for the cab but I could use the vin on the frame if that was what title I had. texas you have to get a certified weight when coming from out of state. So depending on where you go you need to check with that state.
Hmmm, I have ownerships here for F150, F250, and F350's....some heat and a scraper will take the sticker off the door jamb, or a coat of paint will wipe it out all together anyway. Slap some F150 emblems on the fenders, and I have a heavy duty half ton? Sad thing is about 3/4's of the DOT guys around here wouldn't know the difference.....
Thats kind of my thoughts....contest catagories would fall along the lines of how much can you put in the bed (with an opening weight of something like 5k), how much can you haul, with an opening number of like 15k for frame hitch, and 20k for a goose or 5er.
then you have the looks contests.....how much paint you left on the tree you couldnt make it around while pulling a chevy to safety...What the interior looked like after surviving a top of the tire water fording (hey, it kept running, all you needed was one wire and some air).
The thoughts go on....if I wanted a "cute" truck i would buy a honda ridgeline
mine aint purdy but its cleans up nice.when you drive down logging roads and through the timber that has no roads its hard to keep it lookin good.i use my truck as a truck.....not to pick up chic's even though for some reason it works for that too?????go figure i guess some girls still have class.lol the ole lady hates hearin girls saying they wanna drive it.i dont know why they want to but they do im only 28 years old so i guess if this girlfriend dont work out my truck will get me more.lol
