trying to get into a Ford
I bought my first new <NOBR style="COLOR: darkgreen; FONT-SIZE: 100%; FONT-WEIGHT: normal" id=itxt_nobr_1_0>truck
</NOBR> a couple years ago and it was too expensive for me to keep and I had to sell it. I really miss having a truck and was looking to get into an older Ford. My father has a 97 F-250 Centurion with the 460 in it. I really like the styling of that truck and have been trying to find a similar truck with the 7.3 Powerstroke.
I am new to <NOBR style="COLOR: darkgreen; FONT-SIZE: 100%; FONT-WEIGHT: normal" id=itxt_nobr_2_0>Ford</NOBR> and to the diesel engine and through my research I stumbled upon this site. I have done some trolling around the forum and decided to join to see if you guys could give me any pointers on the truck I am looking for. A few days ago I found a local classified ad for a 95 F-250 with the 7.3. The main interest for me in the diesel is for the improved fuel economy and I just love the sound of a diesel engine.
Is there anything major I should avoid when buying a truck like this? Any info would be great.

There are some tips on this sight to buying an PSD. All good info.
If you want to take the PSD plunge, your encouraged to stick around here and hang out with the rest of us and learn all you can and have a fun kickin truck that sings to you whenever you hit the throttle.
