door tag decode?

Hi, does anyone know what axle code 37E on the door tag would stand for? The truck is a '77 F250 Camper Special, 2wd, 460/C6. I know it's a dana 60 rear, but I need to know the gear ratio.

Checked the FAQ, but most links there seem to be dead or useless. Thanks.

5.3M? What does the M stand for? Sorry, probably a stupid question.

Thanks.

There are no stupid questions. This is how Ford lists the capacity of their axles. "M" is the Roman Numeral for 1000. All this means is the gross axle weight for your rear axle is 5,300 lbs.
Likewise your front axle is 3,800 lb. capacity
