Monstaliner
Monstaliner
Has anyone used this?
How well did it lay while rolling it on?
How does the surface look now?
How long have you had it on?
What do you use the bed for?
--
I am looking to use this on my 72 F100, in the bed, underside of the bed, the back side of the cab, and front side of the bed (the area between cab and bed for sound reduction).
--
I like that this product is similiar to Rhino lining and LineX, but at a fraction of the cost.
--
Any comments about the actual use of this product?
--
I am not looking for any comments on how well your Rhino, LineX, Herculiner, (insert your liner here), as the internet is filled with this info, and I know how this stuff looks, and lasts. I want to know about Monstaliner.

Can't help you much, but here's a bump for ya.
I too have been looking at Monstaliner real hard. I want to put it on the front bumper and rocker panels on my 02 dually. that way no more rock chips! there are a lot of write ups and installs over on jeepforums.com. these guys have been using it for EVERYTHING! seems to stand up to their abuse real well.

Monstaliner is a catalyzed liner that uses a textured roller to apply. There's a bunch of other liners almost exactly like this by different companies. I've used two of those on two different trucks. They work very well. They look like a line x more than a Rhino. They aren't as thick as those, but like you said, they're a fraction of the cost. They are, however, a thousand times easier and better looking if you are able to spray them. My friend rolled his in his Wrangler tub, and I sprayed mine in my Bronco tub. You can see where the roller dragged in his and where he couldn't get into corners with the roller and had to brush it. Also, spraying it put it on way thicker. I can't see through anywhere on mine and he can see through all over. Its been in my work truck bed for 5 years or so and is still glossy and looks great after we wash it. The other work truck has line x and is so chalked out it literally looks worse than a chalkboard. The Magnet Paint guy used to comment on here, you might ask him if its sprayable.
